PrJSC Zernoproduct MHP

To provide its poultry farms with its own-grown feed, MHP launched a new enterprise in 2004. Its business profile includes cultivating grains (winter wheat, spring and winter barley, corn), oil crops (sunflower, soybean) and industrial crops (winter rape), as well as supplying the company with superior quality production seeds with high yield potential.

The enterprise’s total land area amounts to 77.5 thousand hectares. Agronomists employed by Zernoproduct MHP harvest over 145 thousand tonnes of winter wheat (average yield per hectare — 6.48 tonnes), 160 thousand tonnes of corn (7.69 tonnes/ha), 33 thousand tonnes of winter rape (3.72 tonnes/ha), 17 thousand tonnes of sunflowers (2.77 tonnes/ha).

The enterprise is headed by Mykola Ivanovych Kucher and employs 2400 people.

PrJSC Agrofort

In 2006, MHP started up a multi-product enterprise to diversify sources supplying raw materials to the group’s processing businesses, as well as to test new varieties and breeds. The enterprise’s core activities include crop cultivation (corn, winter wheat and rape, sunflower) and cattle breeding (raising breeding bulls and cows).

The area of cultivated land amounts to 1162 hectares, half of which is under corn. Annual gross yield on grain crops exceeds 55 thousand tonnes. The enterprise maintains a very high cropping capacity: 7.1 tonnes/ha for corn, 6.4 tonnes/ha for winter wheat, 3.4 tonnes/ha for rape.

Headed by Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Onuka, the enterprise employs 276 people.

PJSC Myronivsky Plant for Manufacturing Groats and Feeds (MFC)

Since joining the MHP group in 1998, the plant has provided the basis for the subsequent development of MHP. The plant still remains a stronghold for the group’s remaining production facilities. MFC supplies feeds to livestock breeding businesses, manufacturing 22 thousand tonnes of compound feed per month. In addition, the plant has two production lines which extract sunflower oil, pressing 1100 tonnes of seeds per day and pelleting 5 tonnes of husk per hour.

In 2008 the MFC produced 270 thousand tonnes of feeds and 95 thousand tonnes of vegetable oil. Non-processed grains and oil feedstock are dried and stored in four elevators belonging to OJSC Myronivsky Plant for Manufacturing Groats and Feeds.

The enterprise is headed by Oleksandr Vasylyovych Zhukotanskiy. Its employee headcount totals 720 people.

LLC Katerynopilsky Elevator

Joined the MHP group in 2005. The main objectives it faced was to store grains and legumes and to produce feeds for farm animals raised by the group’s businesses

The enterprise has operated two production lines, whose output amounts to 600 tonnes of feeds per year. The storage capacity of the elevator’s granaries equals 210 thousand cubic meters. At the moment, Katerynopilsky has launched an oil-pressing plant with a planned capacity of 620 tonnes of processed seeds per day. Next on the agenda is the construction of an oil extraction complex.

LLC Katerynopilsky elevator is headed by Gritsenko Volodymyr Ivanovych. The enterprise employs 378 people.

LLC Tavriysky Plant for Manufacturing Feeds

The expansion of MHP’s output gave an impetus to the establishment of another groat and feed mill in 2004. To ensure ease of delivery, Kherson Region was selected as the plant’s location. Tavriysky LLC supplies the group’s livestock and poultry businesses with pelleted compound feeds for broilers and pigs.

The manufacturing process is fully automated. The plant’s total capacity amounts to 30 tonnes of feeds per day. In the enterprise’s annual turnover, in 2008 their share amounts morover 160 thousand tonnes The enterprise uses its own truck fleet to deliver its products.

Tavriysky LLC employs 122 staff, with Borys Stepanovych Herman as its director.
