In the beginning of June, situated at the juncture between the Shakhtarsk and Amvrosievsk districts of the Donetsk region, the “Shakhtarska Nova” poultry farm was consecrated by the local priest. This farm currently provides MHP (CJSC with Foreign Investment Oril Leader, CJSC Druzhba Narodiv Nova) with hatching eggs. 

Demand for new production capacity is expected to increase and therefore this demand will be met by the building of MHP’s new powerful poultry complex in Vinnytsya region (Ladyzhyn), which will be the largest complex in Europe. 

During 2010-2015 the complex will contain 177 rearing sites, six for young birds (10 barns in each) and 13 for laying hens (9 barns in each). The total area under operation is 427 thousand square meters. Production capacity on the new operation sites will be 325 million hatching eggs per year (currently it is 45 million hatching eggs per year).

For procurement of the parent poultry farm it is planning to build more than 30 km of gas pipe line, electricity lines, roads. The extension of the Shakhtarska Nova Poultry Farm will be in 2 stages. The first stage will be completed in 2013 and the second in 2015. The first stage will involve building 3 sites for young birds and 6 sites for laying hens, as well as building 12 km of roads. Also, it is planned that this year vertical planning works will take place.
