Local authorities of Vinnytsya region promise to support MHP

On the 6th of July, Yuriy Kosyuk, CEO of OJSC “MHP”, discussed with the head of Vinnytsya region state administration, Mykola Dzhyga, the possibility of expediting the document handling for receiving permits on building new poultry complex (Ladyzhyn).

With the reference to construction works that MHP is planning to carry out in the summer and finish in the autumn, Yuriy Kosyuk addressed a request to sustain in receiving necessary building permits to the head of Vinnytsya region state administration.

The CEO of MHP admitted that only domestic specialists work on the building and they use only domestic raw materials. Furthermore, MHP is engaged in building Ladyzhyn’s precast factory, refractory materials plant and two granite quarries. According to Yuriy Kosyuk, the Company is ready to propose tenders on 7-8 years for Vinnytsya enterprises but only on condition that these enterprises will meet European standards. Participants of the meeting agreed on continuing the current tender practice.
 
During the meeting, Yuriy Kosyuk proposed to consider selling the shabby camp near Ladyzhyn in order to create social infrastructure for employees. The establishment of the project foresees the creation of 10,000 jobs. MHP also has plans to build a housing perk and several kinder gardens. The Company is planning to locate several housing perks on the territory of an old children’s holiday camp. Mykola Dzhyga confirmed that he will resist any attempts by officials to create obstacles.
 
The plan is to build a convenience food production plant, 2 elevators for corn and sunflower storage, a fodder production plant with the capacity of 1,5 mln tonnes of products per year and an oil crushing plant with the production capacity 1,5 thousand tonnes of sunflower per day. This will all be on the territory of the production complex in Ladyzhyn, besides the poultry farm. In order to grow crops for the Ladyzhyn complex, the Company is planning to cover more than 50 thousand hectares of farming lands on the territory of Gaisynsk, Trostyanetsk and Tylchinsk districts of Vinnytsya region.
 
In general, the investment for the project will total 1 billion US dollars, with 60% of this sum financed by the Company and 40% will be third party financing.
