KIEV, July 15 - London-listed Ukrainian agricultural firm Mironovskiy Hlebproduct (MHP) said on Thursday it had increased production and sales of key products in the second quarter after launching new facilities.
MHP, one of Ukraine's biggest farming operations, said it had avoided the production problems besetting many other growers, and forecast its yields would beat the national average by a margin.
According to the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC), in January-February this year the volume of poultry meat production in Ukraine increased by 13% compared to the same period in 2009 and by 23% compared with the corresponding period of 2008.
